Our Veterinarian

Dr Katz Piller has been practicing veterinary medicine for 11 years.  She worked as a locum veterinarian, filling in for other veterinarians in practices from Winnipeg, MB to Prince Rupert, BC.  She brings with her a cumulation of practice ideas from all of these different experiences and has a practice goal to maximize patient care and comfort.  From a heating plate to warm IV fluids for small patients to circulating heating pads during surgery, patient care is foremost.  Dr Piller is a strong advocate of continuing education, taking a variety of courses throughout the years including specialty courses in pet dentistry, cruciate surgery, ultrasound and radiology.  She encourages her staff to do the same, in order to provide the best patient care possible.

Dr. Piller and her menagerie of pets - Cedric, Gracie, Mumma Kitty, Hunter, Simon, Simba, and Benny all live on site at the home attached to Clayburn Pet Hospital.  When not with patients, she can often be seen poop-scooping or mowing the lawns!
