  This is the website of the National Animal Poison Control Center. It includes a library, links to other sites, and phone numbers for the poison control center.

• Veterinary Information Network VIN is the world's first and largest online veterinary community.  Browse this site for a wealth of information on all aspects of veterinary medicine and surgery!
• Pets and Parasites information on parasites that commonly affect our pets, including those which can also affect humans.
• Growing up with pets  A great site that focuses on fostering strong healthy relationships between children and their pets.
• The American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) is an international association of more than 36,000 veterinary care providers who treat companion animals.
•  Canadian Veterinary Medical AssociationThis site is a good starting point to learn more about a variety of topics, including the latest subjects in veterinary medicine
• American Association of Feline PractitionersThe AAFP is like the American Medical Association for cat doctors, and has lots of good information regarding feline health
• BC Center for Disease Control  is an agency of the Provincial Health Services Authority that focuses on preventing and controlling communicable disease and promoting environmental health for the province
• Heartworm Society  Everything you ever wanted to know about heartworm disease can be found here!
• West Nile Virus This site is maintained by the Centers for Disease Control in Atlanta, and has the latest information on the spread of West Nile Virus in the US, as well as information on disease transmission, symptoms, etc. 
• CFIA Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service
  The CFIA maintains this website with information on a variety of animal health related topics, including the latest news on such things as Mad Cow Diseases, foot and mouth disease, and many other things.
• BC Center for Disease Control
• Advantage Flea Control This site is sponsored by Bayer Animal Health, the makers of new K9 Advantix for dogs and Advantage flea control for dogs and cats. It is loaded with information about fleas and flea control.

If you want to learn more about feline housesoiling, barking dogs, aggression, or any other behavioral problem, check this one out!

• Rainbow Bridge
  Anyone who has ever lost a pet should visit this wonderful site. It is a terrific tribute to our lost family members 
• Daybreak Counselling located in Surrey, B.C.
• Association for Pet Loss and Bereavement this is a tremendous online resource for anyone who is at any stage of pet loss, from the preparing for the loss through to the process of healing that follows.  This sit contains lots of supportive information for people and their children.  Also contains chat rooms.
